  • Porchfest

How f*ing awesome was Porchfest??!! It was THIS awesome. Congratulations to all involved. Another reminder about how much Somerville is killing it.

I got lost in the city that day, catching as much as I could all afternoon. Met some great people, and heard a wide variety of music. Above you see Black Circuit. You can catch the rest of my photos over here.

  • Florida

I finally got through this year's crop of photos from my visit to Florida in March. Here is one to whet your appetite - it was one of the very last shots I took. I was in Orlando on my way to the airport, and the driver puller up next to me and began to chat. I asked if I could take his photograph, and he agreed. The camera and flash just happened to be on the seat next to me.

The rest of the trip can be found here. It makes very little sense to create such a large set of photos, but I figure people can drop off any time they want.

Just in time for opening day.

  • Greetings from Lynn!

We had a great visit in Lynn this past weekend working on a project for Compass Working Capital. We came across this caged animal on Chatham Street, a pet grooming business's attempt to get attention. It worked.

  • Miami Installations

We had a great time in Miami this month. Saw a lot of people, a lot of art, and got to put up some signs around town. Most of the installations were in Wynwood, which is where we spent most of our time anyway. 'Looking forward to going back!

  • Harvard - Yale Game

  • Texas State Fair

I finally got to visit the country's largest state fair while visiting Dallas on business. It is unimaginably big, and the Midway was spectacular. I'll post more photos soon, but here is a preview.

  • The Windsor Fair, Windsor, Maine.

Here is one from the archives - taken in 2010. As Labor Day approaches, we are looking forward to getting back to Windsor!

BTW, this photo has a hidden gem and deserves an extra 10 seconds looking at it. Can you spot it? If not, we'll have a postcard version at the fair this year - see you there, or just ask us for one

  • Os Gemeos: A can for a fan.

Taking a break for an autograph.

  • Old Town

That's my mother activating her grandfather's 100-yr old row boat.

  • Flickr report

We just noticed our Flickr photo views passed 500,000 this week. Not sure what that means, but it sure sounds like a lot. Thanks to all who have visited.

Recently we've been doing more and more on Instagram. It's not better, just different. There is a page on this site that has them all. At some point it will surely give way to the next big thing, whatever that is.
